Evorel Conti

Evorel Conti is a continuous combined HRT patch that delivers both oestrogen and progestogen daily, maintaining steady hormone levels without monthly bleeding. It's suitable for postmenopausal women, those more than 6 months post-menopause, or at least 18 months since their last period.

What is Evorel Conti?

Evorel Conti is a continuous combined HRT skin patch containing two hormones: estradiol (oestrogen) and norethisterone acetate (a progestogen). Applied twice weekly, each patch delivers a steady daily dose of 50 micrograms of estradiol and 170 micrograms of norethisterone acetate directly through the skin.

Because both hormones are released continuously, rather than in a monthly cycle, the patch is designed for women who are fully postmenopausal and no longer want or expect a regular bleed.

Benefits of Evorel Conti

The primary benefit of Evorel Conti is effective management of menopause symptoms. Relief of symptoms is typically achieved during the first few weeks of treatment. By replacing declining hormone levels, the patch can significantly reduce:

  • Hot flushes and night sweats
  • Sleep disturbances related to night sweats
  • Vaginal dryness and discomfort
  • Low mood and anxiety
  • Brain fog and difficulty concentrating
  • Joint and muscle aches

Other benefits include:

1 Bone health protection
2 Steady hormone delivery
3 Digestive system bypass
4 Cardiovascular considerations
5 Eliminates monthly bleeding
6 Womb protection
