Some women continue to experience symptoms such as low energy, reduced libido, and persistent fatigue despite being on optimised HRT. In these cases, testosterone may be prescribed alongside HRT to help address these specific concerns. Used together, they can support both hormonal balance and overall wellbeing.
Your HRT and testosterone are combined into a single, personalised menopause plan. One treatment forms your core plan, while the other is added on at a reduced monthly cost.
If you and your doctor decide that HRT and testosterone are right for you, you won’t pay two full plan prices. Instead, your HRT plan starts from £89 per month, and testosterone is added on from £19, £29, or £49 per month, depending on the formulation prescribed. This allows you to receive both treatments in a more cost-effective way.
Yes, when prescribed and monitored appropriately, HRT and testosterone are widely considered safe to use together. Clinical guidelines, including those from the British Menopause Society, support the combined use of these hormones in suitable patients, with regular monitoring to ensure safety, effectiveness, and the right dosing for your body.

When women experience ongoing local symptoms affecting the vagina, vulva, or urinary tract, vaginal oestrogen or Intrarosa can be used alongside HRT. While standard HRT treats whole-body symptoms, vaginal treatments work directly at the source, offering targeted relief for intimate discomfort.
Your HRT and vaginal treatment are combined into one personalised care plan. One treatment forms your core plan, while the second is added on at a reduced cost.HRT plans start from £89 per month, depending on your prescription. Vaginal treatments are added on from £10 to £32 per month, depending on the treatment prescribed. This allows you to receive both treatments in a more cost-effective way
Yes, using vaginal oestrogen alongside systemic HRT is widely considered safe and is supported by clinical guidelines. Vaginal oestrogen delivers very low doses locally, with minimal absorption into the bloodstream.
Intrarosa can also be used alongside systemic HRT. It works locally within vaginal tissues and has minimal systemic absorption, so it does not significantly add to circulating hormone levels.

Hormonal changes during perimenopause and menopause can make it harder to manage weight, even when your lifestyle hasn’t changed. Many women notice weight gain, stronger cravings, and slower progress than before. HRT can help support hormonal balance, while weight loss treatment can reduce appetite and support healthier eating patterns.
This bundle works slightly differently. Once you join a Voy menopause plan, we’ll refer you to our dedicated weight loss team. If you sign up for a minimum 3 month weight loss plan, you’ll then receive £30 off per month for up to 6 months on your weight loss treatment.

Yes, many women safely use HRT alongside weight-loss treatment with the right medical support. Your Voy clinician will assess your health and goals, and review your treatment regularly to keep everything safe, appropriate, and tailored to you. As your body changes, your menopause specialist may also adjust your HRT dose if needed, in case absorption is affected by your weight-loss medication.

Standard Dose
This is the usual starting point for hormone replacement therapy (HRT). It follows national guidelines and works well for many women with mild to moderate menopause symptoms. It uses a smaller amount of hormone and is generally the most cost-effective option.
Examples:
Adjusted dose
If your symptoms aren’t fully relieved by the standard dose, your clinician may increase your dose. This is a safe and common approach, especially for women with more severe symptoms or those going through early menopause.
An adjusted dose might involve:
Why This Can Affect Cost
Adjusted doses can sometimes be more expensive because:
Different strength products usually cost more.
You may need a larger quantity of the medication each month.

Balancing Cost and Care
Your treatment will always be guided by what’s best for your body, not just cost. Our clinicians aim to use the most effective and affordable form of medication.
If cost is a concern-particularly with private prescriptions — do speak to your clinician. There are often equivalent options at different price points.
The price of your plan will not reduce if you choose not to use the optional benefits. If you have any question about the price of your plan, please contact the care team. We will always try our best to accommodate what you need.
Together, you and your clinician will decide once you're on the treatment plan that works for you.
Once you are stable on your dose and no longer require frequent check-ins or adjustments, your clinician will let you know when you’re ready to transition to a lower-cost maintenance plan.
On the maintenance plan, you’ll continue to receive the same core benefits — including medication shipped to you every three months, ongoing access to message your clinician via WhatsApp, and scheduled follow-up appointments as needed. The main difference is that you’ll require less frequent monitoring, including fewer blood tests and check-ins, which is why the overall cost is reduced
.This ensures your care remains safe, supported, and clinically appropriate, while reflecting your reduced need for intensive follow-up.
If you are currently receiving treatment with Voy weight loss, our plans can work well around your medication. You will have a dedicated login for your Voy Menopause account and benefits, to keep things simple. If you are on NHS HRT, you can choose one of our non-hormonal treatment plans to get additional support that is tailored to your needs. This includes our CBT plan, which is specifically designed for support during menopause. If this is something you'd like to explore, please reach out to our care team at help@joinvoy.com to find out more
We are a private service. We understand that you may be wanting a higher level of support than the NHS can provide, or be looking for care more personalised to your unique situation. Our goal is to support as many women as possible by providing expert, affordable care.

We share a summary of your appointment with you after it, and this can be shared with your GP so that your medical records are kept up to date. It also gives you a very detailed record of your appointment, so you can refer back to it.
Blood test results will also be shared with you, and you can share those with your GP. Your results will be sent to you via email after you have had your appointment.
