Specialist appointments

Meet with your menopause specialist doctor to review your symptoms, medical history and goals. You’ll leave with a personalised treatment plan recommendation and clear next steps.
On-off cost: £99 RRP £145
45 minutes online
What happens during an appointment?
  • A focused conversation about you: You’ll have a full 45 minutes to explore your menopause journey, your symptoms, how you’ve been feeling, and what you’d like to change. There’s space to ask questions and feel fully supported.
  • Clear guidance on your options: Your doctor will explain which treatment approaches may be appropriate for you, including hormonal, non-hormonal and lifestyle options, and help you understand what could help now or be adjusted over time.
  • A plan you can feel confident in: You’ll leave with a personalised plan shaped around your symptoms, medical history, preferences and goals. If you choose to continue with Voy, you’ll have unlimited access to our clinicians for guidance and support throughout your journey.
How are Voy specialists different?
  • Experienced menopause specialists: You’ll be supported by a doctor with specialist training in women’s health, who has helped hundreds of women across different stages of perimenopause and menopause.
  • Evidence-led and up to date: Our doctors stay at the forefront of women’s health by attending menopause conferences, keeping up with the latest research, and sharing expertise as a clinical team. They also understand where research gaps and gender bias still exist - and how that impacts care.
  • You’ll feel listened to: Many women come to us after feeling dismissed or told their symptoms are “normal.” We take your symptoms seriously and make sure you feel heard, understood and supported.
  • Personalised care for complex needs: Whether you’re managing menopause alongside ADHD, PMDD, endometriosis, a history of hormone-sensitive cancers, or other medical conditions, your care will be tailored to your unique health history and needs.

BUNDLES

Combining treatments

We bundle and discount common treatments to keep expert care more affordable—without compromising on quality or safety.

HRT + testosterone
HRT + vaginal treatments
HRT + Weight Loss

HRT + testosterone

Many women add testosterone to their HRT for more complete symptom relief. While HRT helps with hot flushes, mood, and sleep, testosterone can support energy, focus, motivation, and libido.
Why might I be prescribed both treatments?

Some women continue to experience symptoms such as low energy, reduced libido, and persistent fatigue despite being on optimised HRT. In these cases, testosterone may be prescribed alongside HRT to help address these specific concerns. Used together, they can support both hormonal balance and overall wellbeing.

How does the cost of this bundle work?

Your HRT and testosterone are combined into a single, personalised menopause plan. One treatment forms your core plan, while the other is added on at a reduced monthly cost.

If you and your doctor decide that HRT and testosterone are right for you, you won’t pay two full plan prices. Instead, your HRT plan starts from £89 per month, and testosterone is added on from £19, £29, or £49 per month, depending on the formulation prescribed. This allows you to receive both treatments in a more cost-effective way.

Are these treatments safe to take together?

Yes, when prescribed and monitored appropriately, HRT and testosterone are widely considered safe to use together. Clinical guidelines, including those from the British Menopause Society, support the combined use of these hormones in suitable patients, with regular monitoring to ensure safety, effectiveness, and the right dosing for your body.

HRT + vaginal treatments

HRT treats whole-body menopausal symptoms, while vaginal treatments works locally to relieve dryness, irritation, discomfort during sex, and urinary issues.
Why might I be prescribed both treatments?

When women experience ongoing local symptoms affecting the vagina, vulva, or urinary tract, vaginal oestrogen or Intrarosa can be used alongside HRT. While standard HRT treats whole-body symptoms, vaginal treatments work directly at the source, offering targeted relief for intimate discomfort.

How does the cost of this bundle work?

Your HRT and vaginal treatment are combined into one personalised care plan. One treatment forms your core plan, while the second is added on at a reduced cost.HRT plans start from £89 per month, depending on your prescription. Vaginal treatments are added on from £10 to £32 per month, depending on the treatment prescribed. This allows you to receive both treatments in a more cost-effective way

Are these treatments safe to take together?

Yes, using vaginal oestrogen alongside systemic HRT is widely considered safe and is supported by clinical guidelines. Vaginal oestrogen delivers very low doses locally, with minimal absorption into the bloodstream.

Intrarosa can also be used alongside systemic HRT. It works locally within vaginal tissues and has minimal systemic absorption, so it does not significantly add to circulating hormone levels.

HRT + Weight Loss

Weight gain is common during perimenopause, with women gaining around 1.5kg per year. Hormonal changes can make weight harder to manage, but combining HRT with weight loss treatment can support sustainable results.
Why might I be prescribed both treatments?

Hormonal changes during perimenopause and menopause can make it harder to manage weight, even when your lifestyle hasn’t changed. Many women notice weight gain, stronger cravings, and slower progress than before. HRT can help support hormonal balance, while weight loss treatment can reduce appetite and support healthier eating patterns.

How does the cost of this bundle work?

This bundle works slightly differently. Once you join a Voy menopause plan, we’ll refer you to our dedicated weight loss team. If you sign up for a minimum 3 month weight loss plan, you’ll then receive £30 off per month for up to 6 months on your weight loss treatment.

You can find more on our menopause and weight loss bundle here: https://www.joinvoy.com/menopause/menopause-and-wl-bundle-information

Are these treatments safe to take together?

Yes, many women safely use HRT alongside weight-loss treatment with the right medical support. Your Voy clinician will assess your health and goals, and review your treatment regularly to keep everything safe, appropriate, and tailored to you. As your body changes, your menopause specialist may also adjust your HRT dose if needed, in case absorption is affected by your weight-loss medication.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between standard and adjusted doses?

Standard Dose
This is the usual starting point for hormone replacement therapy (HRT). It follows national guidelines and works well for many women with mild to moderate menopause symptoms. It uses a smaller amount of hormone and is generally the most cost-effective option.
Examples:

Estradiol patch: 25–50 micrograms
Oral estradiol: 1–2 mg daily

Adjusted dose
If your symptoms aren’t fully relieved by the standard dose, your clinician may increase your dose. This is a safe and common approach, especially for women with more severe symptoms or those going through early menopause.
An adjusted dose might involve:

Using more of the same product (for example, two patches instead of one).
Switching to a stronger version of the same medicine.

Why This Can Affect Cost
Adjusted doses can sometimes be more expensive because:
Different strength products usually cost more.
You may need a larger quantity of the medication each month.
Example:

If you're using a 50 microgram patch twice a week, that’s 8 patches a month.
If you move to 100 micrograms, you might use two patches at a time-doubling your monthly supply.

Balancing Cost and Care
Your treatment will always be guided by what’s best for your body, not just cost. Our clinicians aim to use the most effective and affordable form of medication.
If cost is a concern-particularly with private prescriptions — do speak to your clinician. There are often equivalent options at different price points.

Will the price reduce if I remove the optional benefits?

The price of your plan will not reduce if you choose not to use the optional benefits. If you have any question about the price of your plan, please contact the care team. We will always try our best to accommodate what you need.

What happens when my treatment adjusts over time?

Together, you and your clinician will decide once you're on the treatment plan that works for you.

Once you are stable on your dose and no longer require frequent check-ins or adjustments, your clinician will let you know when you’re ready to transition to a lower-cost maintenance plan.

On the maintenance plan, you’ll continue to receive the same core benefits — including medication shipped to you every three months, ongoing access to message your clinician via WhatsApp, and scheduled follow-up appointments as needed. The main difference is that you’ll require less frequent monitoring, including fewer blood tests and check-ins, which is why the overall cost is reduced

.This ensures your care remains safe, supported, and clinically appropriate, while reflecting your reduced need for intensive follow-up.

How does this work if I am currently a customer of Voy for weight loss?

If you are currently receiving treatment with Voy weight loss, our plans can work well around your medication. You will have a dedicated login for your Voy Menopause account and benefits, to keep things simple. As a Voy patient, you will be the first to be offered an exclusive discount to use all of the Voy Menopause services (appointments or blood tests).

What if I am already on NHS HRT, can I get my care through you instead?

If you are on NHS HRT, you can choose one of our non-hormonal treatment plans to get additional support that is tailored to your needs. This includes our CBT plan, which is specifically designed for support during menopause. If this is something you'd like to explore, please reach out to our care team at help@joinvoy.com to find out more

Are you a private service, or NHS?

We are a private service. We understand that you may be wanting a higher level of support than the NHS can provide, or be looking for care more personalised to your unique situation. Our goal is to support as many women as possible by providing expert, affordable care.

Is your care covered by insurance?

We are covered by the WPA cash plan. Other insurance providers may cover our service, it is worth checking with them. Please ask the care team for a receipt for your care, if you need it for insurance reasons.

How does this work with the NHS?

We share a summary of your appointment with you after it, and this can be shared with your GP so that your medical records are kept up to date. It also gives you a very detailed record of your appointment, so you can refer back to it.

Blood test results will also be shared with you, and you can share those with your GP. Your results will be sent to you via email after you have had your appointment.

I can get my HRT and/or testosterone cheaper elsewhere — why choose this plan?

Our plans are about far more than just the medication. With Voy, you get unlimited access to menopause specialists with no hidden or extra fees — ongoing, supportive care where you’re guided every step of the way. Your plan also includes monitoring blood tests, follow-up reviews, and access to a nutrition coach, all built in. If you’re looking for truly supported, end-to-end menopause care rather than prescriptions alone, Voy is designed for you.
