Mila Mehdi

Dr Mila

About

I am a GP with a special interest in Women's Health. Before moving into primary care, I spent many years working in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, gaining extensive experience in supporting women through every stage of their hormonal health journey. I chose general practice because it enables me to provide holistic, personalised and continuous care, building long-term relationships with my patients. I speak English, Turkish, Azerbaijani and Russian, which allows me to support and communicate with patients from a variety of cultural backgrounds.

Medical expertise

My clinical focus is women's health and supporting women through all stages of hormonal change, from contraception and menstrual health to perimenopause, menopause and post-menopause. I have been trained by the British Menopause Society (BMS) in the Management of Menopause and am currently undertaking further advanced training in menopause care. I run dedicated Women's Health, contraception and HRT clinics in both NHS and private practice. My approach is calm, patient-centred and evidence-based, with a focus on listening carefully to each woman's concerns and tailoring treatment to their individual needs and goals.
