Meet Dr. Ellena

As an NHS GP specialising in menopause and women’s health, I am passionate about empowering women with clear, evidence-based information so they can be equipped to manage what life throws at them. I believe every woman deserves the time, understanding, and support to manage her menopause in a way that truly works for her.

About

I am a current NHS GP with a specialist interest in menopause and women’s health. Like many women, I juggle multiple responsibilities while trying to embrace both the challenges and joys of everyday life. In my spare time—when I find it—I enjoy spending time with my family and taking part in the slightly more energetic pursuits of roller derby and hockey.

Medical expertise

I have extensive experience in providing holistic, patient-centred care, including the management of chronic conditions and all aspects of women’s health. Within menopause care, my particular areas of interest include perimenopause, the management of genitourinary symptoms of menopause, and supporting women with the impact menopause can have on mental health.
