About
I am an independent nurse prescriber with over 20 years' experience, within women's health.
Medical expertise
I have extensive experience in women's health, with much of my career focused on contraception and reproductive health. I have supported women through every stage of their reproductive lives, helping them choose and manage contraception for both contraceptive purposes and the treatment of conditions such as heavy or painful periods, premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and the early symptoms of perimenopause.
As an experienced contraceptive implant and intrauterine coil fitter, I understand the important role hormonal contraception can play in managing symptoms as well as preventing pregnancy.
I am experienced in caring for women throughout perimenopause, menopause and postmenopause, supporting a wide range of symptoms including hot flushes, sleep disturbance, mood changes, vaginal and vulval symptoms, reduced libido and changes in sexual wellbeing. My approach is holistic, taking the time to understand each woman's individual experience and working together to create a treatment plan that is safe, evidence-based and tailored to her needs.

Get to know Claire
Outside of work, I'm a mum to two teenage boys, so I understand just how busy and demanding midlife can balancing family life while navigating hormonal changes isn’t always easy!
You’ll usually find me in the gym lifting weights—it’s become a huge part of looking after both my physical and mental wellbeing. I’m a big believer that building muscle is one of the best investments women can make for their long-term health.
When I’m not working, I love walking my dog, listening to audiobooks, going to the cinema, enjoying live comedy and making the most of music festivals whenever I can.
