Yes, you need a blood test to monitor your testosterone treatment in the first 3 months. This is to check that you are taking the right amount of testosterone. If you have been taking too little, or too much, you will need a second blood test at 6 months in order to ensure that you are on the correct dose.

How do I cancel my plan?

The plan is 3 months long, as this is the time it takes for hormonal medications to have their full effect. It's important to give new medications a chance to work, and to try and stay on them for 3 months. For this reason, you can only cancel the plan after 3 months of care. You can cancel anytime through your secure patient portal, or by contacting our care team. There are no cancellation fees, but we will process the cancellation at month 3.

How long is the plan?

Each plan runs for 3 months at a time, giving you flexibility to continue only if it’s right for you. You can decide to continue on your plan or not, after your treatment review appointment at 12 weeks.
