Sarah Glynne

Dr Sarah Glynne is an experienced GP and Menopause Specialist based at The Portland Hospital in London. She has a special interest in providing menopause care for women with a history of breast cancer, and is passionate about teaching, education and supporting shared decision-making through patient-centred care.

Sarah graduated from Imperial College School of Medicine with first-class Honours in Physiology and distinctions in Pathology and Surgery. Since 2020, her practice has focused solely on menopause.

Dr Sarah Glynne is a GP and Menopause Specialist trained to consult across all aspects of menopause care, with a particular focus on complex menopause-related health needs and menopause after breast cancer. She is an accredited member of both the Royal College of Physicians and the Royal College of General Practitioners, and holds an MSc in Allergy and Immunology from Imperial College London, completed with distinction.

Sarah is active in research and has published extensively on clinical outcomes in women treated with HRT (including testosterone) and the role of HRT following breast cancer diagnosis. She co-authored two chapters in Principles of Precision Hormone Therapy for Healthy Aging (2025), contributed to the updated BSSM Position Statement on Genitourinary Syndrome of the Menopause, and served as a clinical advisor for the NICE technology appraisal on fezolinetant for menopausal vasomotor symptoms. She is currently co-leading the MENO-ABC trial, aimed at improving menopause care for women with breast cancer, and is working to establish a specialist multidisciplinary menopause-after-cancer care model for the UK.

She is a member of the British Menopause Society, The Menopause Society, and the International Menopause Society.
