Addiction Services

Through your GP. Take the eligibility criteria to your appointment and ask for a referral to the Morelife Tier 3 service.

You're on a tracked list, prioritised clinically. Keep your contact details up to date and use the interim support we signpost.

It's offered within Tier 3, but access is limited, clinically prioritised and never guaranteed — you're welcome to discuss it with your clinician.

Nothing. The service is free on the NHS for eligible patients.

The intensive phase builds the foundations; the monthly phase is where they become yours — with check-ins and the app in between.

Wegovy (semaglutide) is offered as part of the Tier 3 service, but access is limited and based on clinical need, in line with national NHS policy and local eligibility criteria. Starting the 12-month Tier 3 programme does not automatically mean you will be prescribed Wegovy.

Prioritisation for treatment with Wegovy is based on factors such as your health status, existing medical conditions, and the guidance of the multi-disciplinary team (MDT). Decisions will be based on the joint position statement from the Obesity Management Collaborative UK and the Society for Endocrinology and the NHS Sussex Wegovy Policy, which ensure fair and consistent prescribing practices.

You are welcome to speak to your clinician about Wegovy during the programme, but please be aware there is no guarantee of access, and no set timeline for when Wegovy may become available to you.
