Programme structure

Three antenatal one-to-one sessions and three postnatal sessions, timed around the birth (with a pause around your due date), plus weekly community drop-ins. Postnatal support available up to 24 months after birth.

What's inside

Food guidance for pregnancy and breastfeeding, gentle physical activity, emotional health and identity, sleep and stress, weaning and infant feeding, and signposting into local services. This is not a time to diet — the programme is explicit about that.

How it's delivered

One-to-one with a specialist practitioner, face-to-face or online, alongside local midwifery care. Referral via your midwife or GP, or refer yourself. Translation services available.

Who delivers it

Specialist maternal healthy lifestyle practitioners working alongside local midwifery teams.
